Early Detection & Care Coordination
An integrated platform for early detection and care coordination in aged care and home care. Gives care workers and nurses real-time visibility into changes in a citizen's condition - enabling early intervention before a crisis emerges.

The story
Built from the ground up by Symmetric after identifying a gap in how aged care workers could act on early warning signs. Grown from a smartphone app into a full platform with Danish municipality deployments across 15+ sites, and now extended into Australia under the VisiCare brand.

Consultative Work Data Collection
A tailor-made iOS and Android app replacing pen-and-paper data collection for educational-psychological consultative work in Danish municipalities. Enables real-time statistics and anonymised reporting across the social sector.

PalCare
Palliative Shared Care Platform
A common digital platform for GPs, specialist palliative care services, paramedics, community nurses and patients - enabling coordinated end-of-life care and reducing unnecessary hospitalisations.

The story
Developed for GPPartners Australia and the Australian Digital Health Agency in Adelaide. Born from research showing that care coordination barriers between providers were the single biggest impediment to sustainable palliative care. Built by VisiCare with workflow design by Sammetric.

Toxaid
Poison Control Case Management System
A custom case management and clinical decision support system built for Denmark's national poison control centre (Giftlinjen) at Bispebjerg Hospital. Replaced a legacy system with a workflow-designed platform built around how staff actually work.

VIDA
Maternity Visitation & Centralised Booking
A centralised visitation system for distributing maternity patients across four birth clinics in the Capital Region of Denmark - balancing resources, addresses and patient preferences in real time across all sites.

The story
Developed after extensive workflow design with Gentofte Hospital. VIDA solved a coordination problem that had no good manual solution - distributing thousands of women across four clinics while honouring preferences and optimising capacity. Running in production since March 2015.

Miru

A flexible data collection and dashboard platform - an iPad app for capturing survey and quality data in the field, paired with a configurable real-time analytics dashboard. Used for evaluations, satisfaction surveys, quality audits and outcome measurement.

The story
Built by Symmetric to solve a recurring problem across projects: organisations needed a way to capture structured data in the field and visualise it immediately. Miru ("to see" in Japanese) gives teams exactly that - real-time visibility into what's happening on the ground.

VistA Venerea
Open Source EHR - STI Clinic
An adapted deployment of WorldVistA (the open source US Veterans Affairs EHR) for the Venereological clinic at Bispebjerg Hospital - fully eliminating paper journals and delivering a workflow-designed clinical record system.

The story
One of Symmetric's earliest end-to-end product deployments. Funded by Softwarebørsen, the system was running at Bispebjerg Hospital from January 2010. The first hospital unit in Denmark to operate entirely without paper journals or paper test results.
